2015   Lecturer for Chinese Art, Beijing International Education Exchange Center

Taught Chinese art in English for high school students from 5 countries (i.e. USA, Pakistan, India, Czech Republic, Turkey). Competition, games and activities like creating opera make-ups and Chinese painting made it possible to enhance their understanding and interest of Chinese art and its cultural characteristics.

 

2014   Lecturer for Intermediate Chinese Listening & Speaking, Peking University

Taught Chinese listening and speaking for students whose learning motivation was doing business with Chinese speakers. Except for text books and CDs, other audio and video materials from internet as well as group interactive exercises were also used to improve their listening and oral competence.

 

2013   Lecturer for Advanced Chinese Writing, Tsinghua University

Taught preparatory class Chinese writing, using process writing approach based on schema theory. Instructed and assessed prewriting, composing, revising, and editing process of students’ Chinese writing.
